Welcome and thank you for visiting my site.  Let me introduce myself.  My name is Ben Getty and hunting and fishing have been a passion of mine for a long time.  I have been fishing in Washington State since I was 5 and hunting since about 12 giving me many years of experience in both.  Just to get the question out of the way, YES, I am a Coast Guard certified captain. 

I was recently interviewed for Mossy Oak's magazine "Hunting the Country" and Field and Stream.  I also am a Mossy Oak prostaff member. 

Getty's Northwest Guiding focuses mainly on Sea Duck hunts for groups up to 4 people, however, puddle duck hunting is an option also.  We also offer Sturgeon trips on the Stillaguamish, Snohomish and Skagit river systems. 

I am located in the beautiful state of Washington just minutes from the Puget Sound in Marysville.  There are many hotel/motel accommodations nearby including a Vegas style resort/spa/casino on the Tulalip reservation along with a very large outlet mall for those who might be bringing along female companions.  It would be a trip that the whole family could enjoy. 

I am just about an hour from the Sea-Tac International airport and can make arrangements to pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel in Marysville or surrounding areas.

Gear: 

For most of my guiding I use a 21' Venture made by Duckwater Boats.  These are refered to by magazines as the Rolls Royce of duck boats.  They are the most safe, dry and steady of all the duck boats.  Please check them out at www.duckwaterboats.com .  I also use hand carved and hand painted decoys.
